2026: Restore America’s Democracy
This year is the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, when the nation’s founders called for new ideals, including the right of the people to choose their leaders and the guarantee of the rights to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.
This is also the year it’s up to all of us to take back Congress. It’s past time to restore the constitutional system many of those same founders put in place, and which we all treasure. And it’s time to preserve the patriotic leadership we’re lucky to have here at the state and local level—where our national ideals impact Cornwall and our neighbors. You can help.

We are the local Democratic volunteers of Cornwall, New York, serving Cornwall, Mountainville, Cornwall-on-Hudson, and other areas in the Cornwall town and school district. We work with the Orange County Democratic Committee to elect local, regional, and national candidates, to advance liberty and justice for all through advocacy and community events, and to raise the profile of our town’s proud Democratic Party voters!
